Less then 20 minutes ago, I was listening and sending voice messages on my Xbox 360, then my headset dies?

I was in an xbox live party and it was working perfectly fine. Then after receiving and sending two Xbox Live messages, I went back to my party and I can no longer talk. I can still hear, though.

My mic is not muted. I bent the wire up a little and it worked temporarily but then stopped.

I have no idea whats wrong, I did nothing to it less then 20 minutes ago. I didn’t change anything, it just randomly stopped letting me talk?

Any help? Thanks

  1. The Xbox 360 Headsets are known to be unreliable.

Nobody understands why microsoft doesn’t make better headsets.

The point is that if you use your headset all the time it is bound to stop working sooner or later.

That’s just something you have to deal with. Unless you buy another higher end headset from other manufactures like madcatz, etc.

Your just going to buy another headset, sorry.

    They cost $20

Here are some higher end cheap alternatives:

    Just look around

    Good luck

  2. Sounds like it’s a wire issue. Try looking for crack in the cord and use electrical tape to fix it. If that doesn’t work you will need a new headset.
