It wont let me connect to xbox live. It says if my IP address in the settings for my xbox are 0.0.0.0 or start with 169, then my DHCP is disabled. I checked my routers website thing 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, and in the Manage Network Connections>Wireless Network Connection>Properties>Internet Protocal 4> DHCP was enabled.

Still says “Cannot contain IP address”. /: What do I do? Very detailed please.

  1. If you’re getting a 169.x.y.z address then your 360 is not seeing your router. If it’s wired, double-check the cables. If it’s wired, double-check that it’s joined to the right wireless network and getting a good signal.
